Watch the show, and let me worry about the pictures.

The fact is, you can either watch the show or you can make pictures. The posed shots before or after are great, but action shots from the show are something special. Between my husband and kids, I have been a band mom, stage mom, and dance mom. I know what to look for. I know how to anticipate the big moments. I won't just show up for the show, I'll come to dress rehearsal too. Because someone did it for me, I want to do it for others.

Due to the nature of stage performances, I need to have approval from the studio or band director before I can agree to photograph during the main performance. Cameras do make a small amount of noise that some can find distracting. I use a distance lens that allows me to sit in the back of the theater where I will be the least disruptive, but some studios have rules about such things, so please ask first.

I give discounts when multiple performers from the same show sign up.

Looking for something dramatic?

In addition to action shots, I encourage you to make time for a photoshoot in that favorite costume. Something that really captures the character you embodied. Into the woods, onto a city street, or somewhere completely unexpected. I'm here for it!
